RIP “Marvelous” Marvin Hagler
Hagler was a god to me growing up. I have watched his fights on YouTube over and over for years. This one in particular. Watching John “The Beast” Mugabi work his way towards a showdown with Hagler was such fun when I was a kid and seeing my hero take such a fearsome opponent down was pure joy. And the fight itself was wall-to-wall action. It’s fights like this that make me miss boxing.
