Check it out: The Brattle Film Podcast

When life hands you lemons (or a global pandemic) make lemonade (or a podcast.)

Since the Theatre is dark right now (BTW: please consider a donation to help keep the Brattle going) the staff of the Brattle is looking for different ways to interact with the community. There’s a whole slate of virtual programming and… the launch of The Brattle Film Podcast.

Here’s the blurb:

The official podcast of Boston’s unofficial film school: The Brattle Theatre. Since 1953 the Brattle has been a home for film lovers to gather and share great cinema; showing an eclectic mix of classic, cutting-edge, foreign, cult, and art-house movies on 35mm film, digital projection, and now virtually.

The first episode is great and I’m not just saying that because I’m on the board and know everyone who’s talking. One of the reasons the Brattle is a great place to see movies is because the people behind the scenes know and love movies. That comes through loud and clear.
