No Video Today- Stage 10 Was Simply Too Boring to Break Out the Flip

Cav wins again. Get used to that. Between he and Alberto we’ve got the main faces of the Tour set for the next ten years.

Still, the green jersey competition is going to be more of a barn-burner than I thought it would be. You’d think with three stage wins he’d be running away with it, but he’s not and Thor has proven that he’s got what it takes to pile up the points. We’ll see how things shake out. Big question on that front is- will any of the other sprinters (Ferrar, Benna, Freire, Boonen) actually make their presence felt or is it going to be a two man show?

Other than that- what was up with that 15 second gap? It’s gone as of this morning, but I’m having a hard time figuring out where they got a gap in that race. The commentators didn’t really notice anything amiss and were confused as anyone about the change in GC. Thankfully it’s sorted out now and Levi/Wiggo are back where they belong.

Beyond that- do I really have to wait until Sunday for some GC fireworks? Sad face.
