I could set up a fake Twitter account to post to, but that seems like way too much work to make a few minor changes to a plugin.
Oh, what am I doing? I’m hacking Ingoal’s Twitter Updater to use Google Analytics campaign tracking so I can accurately measure the number of hits Twitter actually generates.
Am I insane, testing this live? Yes. But that’s half the fun.
As a note, after running through this for a few minutes I’m thinking I’m going to write my own version. Which means I really will switch over to a fake Twitter account and my dev blog for the rest of this development cycle.
