I Finally Broke Down and Started Using Amazon MP3…

DRM free MP3 is, of course, appealing to me, so I’ve wanted to start using the service for a while. I just never did. Until yesterday.

My first three purchases:

Handsome Boy Modeling School. So… How’s Your Girl: This is the one that got me to break the seal on the service. I felt like I had to listen to it immediately, so I went the download route.

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. Raising Sand: I’ve been thinking “I really ought to buy that” for several months now. So I did.

Bloc Party. Intimacy: I heart Bloc Party. That much is clear.

Between eMusic and Amazon MP3 I have some seriously sensible music purchasing choices now. Amazon is still too expensive for virtual goods, but at least it’s DRM free, so I can stomach the extra cost.
