Movies 2007 #38 Unbreakable

Unbreakable (Two-Disc Vista Series)

Is it just me or do other people watch M Night Shyamalan films now just waiting for the “big reveal?”

I almost don’t care about the details any more.

I just want to know the twist.

He should switch it up for a minute. Just to stop me from looking around every corner. That attitude kind of spoiled The Village for me. I expected some neato twist and when it came I said “meh.”

This film was actually pretty good despite my self induced handicap. The theme was right up my alley and I’m a fan of both Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, so the fact that I enjoyed it should really come as no surprise. The only surprise is that I didn’t see the big reveal coming at all. They did their thing and the big “voilà” moment came and I said “da fug?” then I gave M Night a little golf clap and when to bed, happy that I was still able to be surprised by one of his films.

I actually want to watch it again. Madness, I know…
