Books #15 A Confederacy of Dunces

A Confederacy of Dunces: Bought for a buck at a garage sale. One of the greatest dollars I’ve ever spent 🙂 Humorous throughout, occasionally quite funny, the real hook for me with this book was the grandly outrageous cast of characters, most notably the impossible lead, Ignatius Reilly. He’s truly a singular character, at once repulsive and fascinating. The amount of time spent contemplating his “valve” is enough to make one’s head spin. Amazing stuff.
