Breaking News Johnny To! Great movie. Very creative. For example: the mesmerizing opening scene is a 6 minute continuous shot that goes from surveillance to pitched gun battle. Mad cool.

Movies 2006 #31

Watched about 35 minutes of Match Point last night and then turned it off because it completely sucked ass. Wooden performances and uncomfortable dialog. Whee! Whatever happened to Woody Allen creatively, I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

Fearless

I just saw it today so I’m still a little flushed from the experience. That means- take this with a grain of salt. Fearless is probably one of the best martial arts movies ever made.

Night and the City – Criterion Collection: This was one of those movies where you want (mostly) everyone to die. It’s really good, but man, I was wishing death on 95% of the characters about five minutes in.
