3001: The Final Odyssey. Finally finished this series. The last chapter is light, but good. It’s more Clarke essaying on the future and our present than anything else.
Battle Royale. I’d seen the movie, now I’ve read the book. Absolutely grand stuff. What a story. Very clever in terms of both the plot and the “world” in which the events transpire. A great read.
