Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is my first and only Blu Ray. I’d like it better if it had an E in the name.
Seriously, Blu Ray is pretty sweet. Not sweet enough that I’d replace any discs I already have with it, but still, pretty sweet.
Of course, my PS3 just died, so there goes that little experiment.
Oh, the film? Well, what can I say? It’s an entry in the Harry Potter franchise, one in which some nasty stuff happens. In other words- super good movie to watch with a bunch of people at Thanksgiving. Which is precisely what I did.
I can’t wait to (once the final film is out) sit down over a weekend and watch all 8 films back-to-back(to-back-to-back-to-back…) It was a fun experience with the Lord of the Rings trilogy (which you can do in a day,) this one might be even better as the characters will age and grow over the course of the films, giving it a greater sense of time and breadth.
