There’s not much that will make me miss Mad Men. Going to see Vampire Weekend is one of them.
They’re ridiculously good live, so if you’re a fan and they’re going to be in your town, you should really make the effort to check them out. The sound is great, looser but still faithful to the album vibe; the crowd is really into it; and they played pretty much everything they’ve ever written. Well worth the $25 (or whatever I paid) to see them.
