I watched both recorded. So, while they were pretty boring it was okay because I could fast forward to the exciting bits.
Nice to see the French get another stage win.
It’s also interesting to see the crowds still turn out despite the French press declaring the tour dead.
One of my favorite parts was the field in Angouleme, where someone wrote:
“Angoulême la capitale de la bande dessinée”
“Angouleme, the capital of comics”
It was also nice to see Contador draped in yellow. I hate that he backed into it the way that he did, but he rode his ass off, so it’s still nice.
