Tour de France Prologue Time Trial- Random thoughts

• Cancellara is fast.
• Is it just me or did Kloden’s performance today make anyone else wonder just a little about Astana team chemistry? Call me paranoid, but there’s a side of me just marking off the days until Kloden attacks Vinokourov in the mountains.
• Bummer seeing Stuart O’Grady crash like that.
• Discovery could barely have asked for a better day. What did they have, 3 riders in the top 15? George’s performance was almost to be expected, but seeing Contador finish that high up in a short TT like this makes me think my pick for him finishing in the white jersey might not be such a bad bet.
• I’m completely bummed for Bradley Wiggins.
• The crowds looked phenomenal. It must have been quite a scene.
• I can’t wait until tomorrow… 🙂
