The City of Lost Souls. After Audition, I was vary of any Takashi Miike movie. That film was brilliant, but more disturbing than pretty much anything else I’ve ever seen. Still I plowed ahead and watched this dual HK/Japanese production. Great stuff! What an awesome film! It was 90 minutes of complete and utter mayhem! MAYHEM! I love mayhem. Guns, explosions, capoeira, Michelle Reis and crazy gangsters; what more do you need?
It also features a scene of computer generated cock fighting that has to be seen to be believed.
