To Make Up For the Fact That the New Dewey Square Mural is Gray on Gray on Gray: COLORS

I’m sure the new mural is very interesting intellectually and certainly won’t be accused by nut-jobs of portraying a terrorist, it doesn’t do much for me. It’s kind of, sterile. Theoretically, the forms look organic, but something about them reminds me of Illustrator clip art writ large. Add to that vibe the fact that the color palette is gray on gray on gray and the whole thing is kind of a dead zone. 18 months of bland gray deadness.

YAY.

Maybe I’ll learn to love it.
