I Get to Go to the Opera and You Can Play Along at Home

I’m heading into NYC tomorrow to go to see La Bohème at the Met. It features the excellent tenor Ramón Vargas as Rodolfo and the lovely Latvian soprano Maija Kovalevska as Mimi and is Franco Zeffirelli’s production. Should be an interesting afternoon.

Anyway, it’s featured on this week’s Met Opera Radio Broadcast, so if you’re in the house, snowed in, or in the car for a while tune in and listen along. You won’t get to see Zeffirelli’s set, but La Bohème is a mighty fine opera with or without the visuals, so it’s well worth checking out.
