Movies 2006 #50-52

Well, I’ll at least average a movie a week this year. Not so bad.

Silent Hill (Widescreen Edition): a really piss-poor film, which is a bummer since I was hoping it would pull a Resident Evil and at least be enjoyable for me, a fan of the game series. It wasn’t really enjoyable at all. A seriously shitty film.

X-Men – The Last Stand (Widescreen Edition): not as bad as I expected. Much better than #2 which I’ve grown to hate. This one was such a mash-up it was almost destined to be no better or worse than mediocre. One thing I will say- the use of the “I’m the Juggernaut, Bitch” line made me slightly embarrassed for humanity.

Bob le Flambeur – Criterion Collection: Great French Crime Drama from Jean Pierre Melville. Keep your eyes open for a full review coming soon.
