Clean
: Maggie Cheung won the Best Actress award at Cannes in 2004 for this film, and she certainly deserved it. It’s a natural, understated performance that is as effective as it is because it feels so honest. The rest of the cast also perform at a very high level, including Nick Nolte (!) who turns in one of the better performances I’ve seen from him in in a little bit. Definitely a film to check out.
