Books #7

I read the Outside article that served as the genesis for John Krakauer’s Into Thin Air as soon as it came out. I’d never gotten around to reading the book. Now I have (over a quick two days) and it was excellent. “Gripping” would be a good “reviewer” word. “Bugged-the-fuck-out” would be a good casual descriptive. 29,000 feet is a crazy place to be even under the best of circumstances and this book hammers that point home with alarming clarity.
